Every year, at the eleventh hour, of the eleventh day, of the eleventh month,
our small Franco-American family makes a private pilgrimage
to the Lafayette Escadrille Memorial just outside Paris, France.

It is natural for us to offer our flowers in a spirit of Franco-American friendship and alliance.

These Americans - along with many others - shall forever remain in France.

The Memorial is currently undergoing a long-awaited restoration,
which will take several years.
